Cabernet Sauvignon is the king of grapes. It’s is the primary grape used in all the great meritage blends of the world, Bordeaux, Napa Valley in California, and Red Mountain in Washington state. We’ll try examples of those wines after we consider the nuances of the grape from more standard bottling from California, Chile, and Australia. This is the complete primer of what Cabernet Sauvignon can be, and tasting not to be missed.
